Hurricane Recovery

Dear S. Florida Community Member,

On behalf of the R3 Accounting team, I hope this email finds you and your loved ones safe and secure after Hurricane Irma. We know that many are still without power and are in need of assistance. We at R3 would like to offer our conference room and amenities at location for your convenience and use during this recovery time to get your business back up and running!

We understand many of you have been financially and physically impacted by Hurricane Irma, we can offer your business financial assistance with any issues that you may have! Call or email for more details.

As we continue to access damage and begin the recovery process, I wanted to let you know that R3 Accounting is here to help our region’s business community get back to normal as quickly as possible. We also want to make sure you have the Federal Emergency Management’s contact information.

Federal Emergency Management Assistance

To register with FEMA as soon as possible. If you preregistered with FEMA, you do not have to apply again. If you have phone and/or internet access, you may register:
~ Online at DisasterAssistance.gov, or

~ On the FEMA Mobile App, or by

~ Calling 800-621-3362 (FEMA). Applicants who use 711 or Video Relay Service may also call 800-621-3362. People who are deaf, hard of hearing or have a speech disability and use a TTY may call 800-462-7585.
The toll-free numbers are open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. ET, seven days a week.
Multilingual operators are available. Press 2 for Spanish and press 3 for other languages.

The filing deadline to return applications for physical property damage is November 9, 2017. The deadline to return economic injury applications is June 11, 2018.

Upon registration with FEMA, businesses may apply for a disaster loan a number of ways:

• Submit an online application at https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela;
• Download an application from www.sba.gov/disaster and submit to a SBA disaster recovery center or mail to U.S. Small Business Administration, Processing and Disbursement Center, 14925 Kingsport Road, Fort Worth, TX 76155;
• Visit a SBA recovery center for one-on-one assistance; or
• Visit their local Florida SBDC for assistance.
